Dublin West Education Centre

The Dublin West Education Centre is a statutory body funded by the Department of Education Skills. It is a member of the network of thirty Education Centres nationally, which acts as a strategic resource for the Department. The Centre provides services for schools, teachers, parents, boards and other relevant persons which support them in carrying out their functions in respect of the provision of education which is recognised for that purpose by the Minister.  The Centre provides Continuing Professional Development (CPD)  for teachers and school communities.  It promotes the Arts at both Primary and Post-Primary level and engages the Arts Council, South Dublin County Council Arts Officer, etc.

We offer schools the opportunity to participate in various national initiatives such as:
