What to Expect
Ahead of their full programme reveal this September, they’re thrilled to share a sneak peek of some of the artists and events taking part in this year’s festival.

Shapeshifters, a solo exhibition by illustrator Shona Shirley Macdonald, will take audiences on a fantastical visual journey through other worlds of myth, folktale, poetry and wonder. The exhibition will feature Shona’s book illustrations alongside other work.

French dance company par Terre / Anne Nguyen Dance Company return to Baboró with Witch Hunting, a gripping, bold and poetic dance performance.

For younger audiences, The Sticky Dance invites children to get involved themselves, creating a playful space to tape, stick and groove freely.

The full Baboró 2026 programme will be available from 1 September at baboro.ie.
