Mary Immaculate College (MIC) – Free Summer Course
Dates: 1 – 7 July 2026

Exciting news! Mary Immaculate College has designed a brand new free Department of Education and Youth approved summer course, ‘Inclusive Music Education: Exploring Assistive and Digital Technologies for Primary and Post-Primary Teachers’

This course is designed to enable primary, special education and/or post-primary teachers to engage in inclusive music pedagogies and digital technologies with a view to adapting them for use in their own classrooms to strengthen learner agency and access.

This on-campus course will:

Course Tutors Gwen Moore, Avril McLoughlin, Edmond Gubbins and June Robbins bring a diverse range of expertise and experience from primary, post-primary and ITE contexts in informal/non-formal music learning, Irish traditional music and inclusive special education.

The summer course is free of charge and will include tea/coffee and snacks. However, places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis!
