Opportunity for Teachers: Music Training at National Concert Hall

The National Concert Hall has announced teacher training courses taking place in July 2025.

Musical Play: Teacher Training for Early Years Music
This course will provide early years educators and musicians working with young children with the confidence and musical tools to teach music effectively and with ease. The course will develop your skill set using a variety of engaging techniques, so that you have a solid foundation on which to build a deep understanding to pass on to the children in your care.

Dates: Monday 7th – Friday 11th July, 3 – 6pm

Creative Music Making for Primary School Teachers
A Department of Education and Skills approved 5 day summer course for primary school and SEN teachers (approved for EPV days).

Aligned with the primary school music curriculum, this 5 day course will encourage and equip teachers with or without a musical background to deliver imaginative, active and educational music sessions in the classroom. The course will deliver practical, hands-on experience in rhythm, percussion, song, composition, “Creative Orchestra”, different instruments, music history, performance and class management; all in an enjoyable and engaging way.

Dates: Monday 7th – Friday 11th July, 9.30am – 2pm
