This is Art! Ireland’s most exciting art competition for young people of all abilities is back!
The theme for 2025 is “This is Nature!” This is wild, wonderful and ever- changing. From real plants and animals to imaginary creatures, dream worlds, feelings or even new universes you invent, you are invited to explore your idea of nature and create amazing works of art!
The competition is open to young artists of all abilities and backgrounds, aged 18 and under, who are currently living anywhere on the island of Ireland.
Entries will be exhibited online in the TIA! Digital Gallery designed to showcase the incredible diversity and creativity of young artists in Ireland today.
The Judges
This year, the professional jury for This is Art! will include top artists, educators, and curators, including: Maser, Artist; Sean Ronayne,
Ornithologist and Writer and Helen Steele, Contemporary Irish Artist and Fashion Designer. They will select winners and provide personalised feedback to 100 highly commended artists, offering valuable advice to help you improve as an artist.
