TAP+ Summer Course 2026: Teacher Registration Now Open

The Department of Education and Youth: Teacher Artist Partnership+ (TAP+) 2026 Summer Course registration is now open.

The Department of Education and Youth is pleased to announce Teacher Artist Partnership+ 2026 Summer Course registration is now open. TAP+ is a unique summer course that offers teachers the opportunity to explore the nature and educational value of partnerships between teachers and creative practitioners in supporting creativity and arts in education in school communities.
TAP+ Summer Course is free to all primary & special school teachers. The course is hosted by your local full time Education Support Centre from Wednesday 1 July to Tuesday 7 July (5 days).
Approved and led by the Department of Education and Youth and Education Support Centres Ireland under Creative Youth 2023-2027.
Please note that TAP+ Summer Course numbers are capped at 20 – 25 teacher participants.

Apply for a free in-school TAP+ Residency for your students!
During the summer course teachers will have the opportunity to apply for a TAP+ Residency to take place in partnership with a creative practitioner from their summer course and their students in the school year 2026/27. Each ESC will have 8 Residencies for participating teachers on the TAP+ Summer Course. If you would like to apply for a TAP+ Residency, you will need to complete the TAP+ Summer Course in your school’s full-time Education Support Centre’s catchment area.
