Opportunity for Schools: This is Art! 2026 Competition Now Open
RTE - This is Us!
RTÉ’s This is Art 2026!
Closing Date: 31 January 2027
RTÉ This is Art! gives students an easy, creative way to explore people, relationships and belonging through art, with no special skills or equipment needed. A simple activity that can fit naturally into the classroom, while giving every kid the freedom to explore their own ideas and perspective.
This year’s theme is This is Use and invites young artists to explore what people, relationships and belonging mean to them. Celebrate the people they love, the places they belong and the moments they share. “Us” can mean anything they want it to; family, friends, community, team, class, culture, or a place they feel connected to. However they choose to interpret it, RTÉ This is Art! want to see what “This Is Us!” means to them.
